General Tips
1. Whenever the dealer hits on a soft 17, and it’s within the realm of possibility that he hasn’t secured a blackjack (using a double deck), if he has an Ace and you have a 6 and 5, you should double down.
2. In a single-deck game, where the house knows a big spread will win the $$$, a high Playing Efficiency lets you bet less and still win.
3. In the event where the dealer hits on a soft 17 (without getting a blackjack), while engaging in one-deck blackjack, if he has a 3 and you have an 8 and 2, it is recommended that you double down.
4. When blackjack is being played using four decks, where the dealer stands on a soft 17 and you get a strong suspicion that he doesn’t have a blackjack, if he has a 2 and you have a 5 and 3, it would be best to hit.
5. When playing with one deck and assuming the dealer doesn’t have a blackjack and that he stands on a soft 17, if he has an Ace and you have a 5 and 4, your best option would be to hit.Glossary
